Europrobasket has enrolled two teams in the Biggest International Tournament in Europe. The location of the tournament is about 60km from Europrobasket Facilities. All Europrobasket players will be included in the tournament and activities. There are still a few roster spots available!

Europrobasket and European Summer League Player on Tryout in Germany!!!

We would like to wish Europrobasket and European Summer League Player Matija Rovscek luck in his tryout in Olpe, Germany! Matija came to Europrobasket’s European Summer League in June. He showed the staff here at the academy as well as the agents and scouts in attendance that he was able to compete at a higher level than he was currently playing at in his home country of Slovenia. He showed a great attitude, leadership and hard work ethic throughout the 6 days he was at the Academy camp. Recently the staff at Europrobasket was contacted by a Regionalliga 2 team in Germany for a European Point Guard and Center. With a great recommendation from the coaches and staff here at Europrobasket, Matija was invited to a tryout and will be leaving tomorrow.  This will be Matija’s first time playing professional basketball internationally!! We here at the academy would like to wish him the best of luck!

He recently made the transition overseas and took his experience to a Division One team in Switzerland. He recently signed a player here in Girona to join his team for next season. A 30 mile bike ride to natural pools is one of the conditioning workouts we like to offer. Europrobasket has received multiple openings for teams from all different levels in Spain. The openings are for free agents. These openings are perfect for players looking to start their careers and move on to higher paying jobs the next season.

LEB GOLD (2nd Div) – Teams need European Passport and Cotonou Passport players with good experience. American players with good Division 1 University or Professional Experience in Europe. Positions 3, 4 and 5. Offers: €1000-€2500 per month, Apt, Meals and flight.

LEB SILVER (3rd Div) Teams need European Passport and Cotonou Passport players with good experience. American players with good Division 1 University or Professional Experience in Europe. Positions 3, 4 and 5. Offers: €1000-€1500 per month, Apt, meals and possibly flight.

EBA (4th Div) Teams need European, Cotonou or American Players. Players dont need Division 1 or Professional Experience. Great chance to start your career in Europe! Positions: 4 and 5. Offers: €250-€700 Apt, Meals, players may need to pay own flight.

We have around 15-20 openings in these teams!!! Please consider your level before sending your information. If you did not play significant minutes in D1 or have prior experience in EUROPE you will need to start at a lower level such as EBA or even lower. We have openings for all levels down to 7th division. Your chances multiply if you can attend our academy in Spain and be available for tryouts!

Europrobasket Coach Signs in China!!

Congratulations to Europrobasket and European Summer League coach Fayssal Rhennam for signing a contract ,through Europrobasket contacts, in China!! Fayssal attended the academy for a week during the Summer League in June. He did an awesome job with the players and organizing games and workouts. We were very impressed with his overall work ethic and made connections for him through our contacts. We became aware of a few openings in China and offered them to our coaches for the summer league. Fayssal signed his contract the other day, and we are waiting to see if the other coaches accept their offers! Thanks for doing a great job and helping place our academy players!! Congratulations to Europrobasket player Kerry Jones on signing with a team in Valencia, Spain!  Kerry played Juco, NAIA Div 1 and also one season in the ABA for the Texas Fuel. He has attended a few summer leagues in the past, Italy and Los Angeles, with great numbers but no offers. With only 3 weeks in Spain he was offered his first contract overseas. He is a powerful 4/3 standing 6’7″ with good moves in the post and a good mid range. The team is making all the arrangements for his arrival at the end of August. International Tournament with Europrobasket in June!!

Europrobasket will be involved in an International Tournament for men and woman players the weekend following the European Summer League June 12-14. If you decide to extend your stay after the Summer League, you will be part of the Europrobasket team competing in this tournament. Teams from other countries as well as from Spain will be in attendance. It will be located in a beautiful beach town not far from the academy. This town is known for its beautiful beaches and fun summertime atmosphere. Not only will you be participating in games everyday, but there will be organized beach and pool parties to unwind at night. You will be staying with the other teams in beach Bungalows.
